Eating out

Kerry is less than a mile away and has 2 pubs , 1 with restaurant. For evening meals on Friday and Saturday it is advisable to book in advance. Guests are welcome to bring take-away meals to eat in the dining room. A minibus service is available from Kerry and taxis from Newtown are also available

Kerry Lamb Restaurant and PubThe Kerry Lamb

Newly refurbished with bar, restaurant, lounge and beer garden. The bar offers guest ales from local breweries while the restaurant is an ideal place to relax and enjoy locally produced good food in a warm and friendly atmosphere. A pool table is in a room adjacent to the bar.

The Herbert Arms

A traditional pub with cosy atmosphere offering real ales. The lounge includes a Nintendo Wii and a pool table is in a room adjacent to the bar.

As parents of young children we regret that we cannot offer an evening meal service. We do however have a number of options we can offer guests who prefer to stay in.

The Forest dining room

Takeaways and Ready meals

Guests are welcome to bring takeaways or ready meals to eat in the dining room where plates and cutlery are provided.

Kitchenette

kitchenette for guests' convenienceA kitchenette with microwave, boiling ring, fridge with freezer and sink is available at all times. Guests may wish to keep food, wine or beer cool and are welcome to prepare baby and children's meals or to heat their own ready meals.

There is a seating with 2 bar stools or meals may be eaten in the dining room.

Fresh milk for tea and coffee is also kept there for guests to help themselves.
